MY CAMPUS LIFE
It has been journey for me throughout my campus life. Campus life has taught me alot about life. Coping up with the new surruonding was the biggest challenge. But all in all i overcomed it and started adapting with the new environment. Before joining the Technical University of Mombasa, I heard that life in campus is sweet and that when you are in campus every lady will want you but it was the opposite to me. I made new friends which wasn't easy for me. Seeing new faces everyday meeting up with new people. I learnt to how to live with people, communicating any issues with them. I joined the Technical University of Mombasa in 2020 during the pandemic period.
I have shared good moments, laughed and also at some point i felt pain. Attending classes at 7 AM was a challenge to me because i didn't get the opportunity to live near the school. Struggles of coming to class before the lecturer has entered was also a challenge. At some point i went to class without taking breakfast, and that lowered my my concentration in class. I remember my first class in campus was totally enjoyable, students were introducing themselves and thus made me know many of them by their names. The lecturers were also friendly and kind. They encouraged as to work hard because in this moment nothing can come to you easily until you struggle put more effort and sweat for it . I always work smart and pray knowing that one day i will come out with a smile.Campus life has taught me survival skills in life. So far i have acquired skillls and knowledge in various things.
For real i have experienced alot because i remember i came to campus knowing nothing about the outside life. The course that i choose was mass communication. It has helped alot i have acquired skills in journalism. Editing of videos has now become a hobby to me. T he CATS and assignments have also contributed alot. Projects has made me to know that teamwork is very important. When two or more put their hands together work flows smoothly. I do this for a better future. I'm almost coming to an end and i feel lilke campus is my second home. I will always live to work hard.
